We are actively seeking a seasoned and meticulous Senior Full Charge Bookkeeper to become a vital member of our dynamic team. In this pivotal remote role, you will take charge of managing comprehensive financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring precision and integrity in all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts for a variety of clients
- Generate and reconcile month-end financial statements for clients
- Supervise and guide junior bookkeepers to uphold exceptional quality of work
- Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll for clients
- File sales taxes and special taxes on behalf of clients
- Support special projects as required to meet team objectives and client needs
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of substantial bookkeeping experience
- In-depth expertise in QuickBooks Online, with 3-5 years of practical experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, showcasing strong spreadsheet management capabilities
- Competence in MS Outlook and MS Word
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients effectively and adhere to deadlines
- Comprehensive knowledge of auditing and reconciling third-party payroll reports to the general ledger
- Strong professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
- Positive, service-oriented demeanor with a strong enthusiasm for facing new challenges
